Aagami has been contracted to work for a biotechnology company based in Barcelona to find co-development, licensing and investment partners from India.
The Spanish company has unique business model to repurpose existing molecules using their sophisticated technology and techniques for application in new indications. They have brought couple of molecules to Clinical stage and several other molecules to pre-clinical level. This is quite cost effective development of newer therapeutic applications.
We believe that this model is ideally suited for Indian Pharma and Biotech companies, which have started innovative and proprietary drug research yet have limited budgets compare to their Western competitors. Hence they could use their cost effective Development resource pool along with this efficient model of research till proof of concept level.
