The 2013 BIO International Convention, the global event of biotechnology, wrapped up 25 April, 2013 at McCormick Place in Chicago with a record number of partnering meetings and panel sessions on the latest science, policy issues and business opportunities and challenges facing the biotechnology industry.
Aagami had its own share in the event with 50+ partnering meetings with companies across the globe , representing more than 6 of its clients, apart from promoting its services.
Hosted by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), the event drew 13,594 industry leaders from 47 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and 62 countries.
Mr. Dinesh Jain, Founder CEO of Aagami was the key member of Business Development committee and evaluated various companies making presentation on the BD Track. He also attended the event, got an opportunity to interact with companies all across the globe and successfully opened up numerous possibilities. More than 10 such possibilities are expected to culminate into a deal for its client, while the 50+ meetings are estimated to bring around 10 new customers for Aagami.
In order to prepare well for the event, the Aagami team had put up a showcase of opportunities from its clients, on their BIO 2103 profile, prior to start of scheduling of meetings. This helped a great deal in arranging meetings with the right companies, and it also helped other companies find the right value proposition and gave them more reasons to meet Mr. Dinesh Jain
Although Aagami could manage to accept 50+ meetings, it had to decline a large number of them owing time constraints. Now since the event is over, Aagami team will not only capitalize on the successful meetings it had during the meeting, but also will follow up and cater to the 50+ companies that Aagami had to decline.
With this, Aagami is going to have a real busy time and will look forward to create success for their customers, in their India or other emerging markets initiatives.
