3. South African drug maker Adcock Ingram Holdings Ltd sold its drug marketing and sale business to India-focused private equity company Samara Capital Partners Fund II Ltd, for about USD 22 million.
4. Portea Medical acquired Health Mantra India Private Limited to strengthen its offerings in geriatric care, orthopedics, and respiratory care and sleep medicine
5. Gland Pharma has attracted bids from top drugmakers including Baxter and Torrent Pharma
6. Recipharm completes acquisition of 74% stake in CMO Nitin Life sciences on cash and debt free basis.
