Client Need

Innovative small molecule to in-license for their pipeline in Oncology.

  • With focused efforts with numerous companies, 2 companies got very interested and move to advanced discussions.
  • Aagami persisted with one at the senior most level and made their CEO interact closely with the client. 
  • Finally co-development partnership term sheet was discussed and reached deal negotiation/finalization stage within 6 months 

Results

  • Client was taken over by a larger Pharma from Europe. In-licensing was not the priority of the new owner.
  • Aagami despite of its best efforts and bringing the two companies to finalize Term Sheet had to relinquish the deal.
  • Aagami succeeded to deliver as promised, although the deal was abandoned by the client.
  • Client appreciated Aagami’s network, expertise and influence which enabled clear choice and decision making.
