Acquisitions:

  1. Marksans Pharma to acquire QliniQ to expand presence in European pharma markets.
  2. Alivira Animal Health Limited has signed a binding agreement to acquire 100% of Italy-based BioForLife Italia S.r.l. (BFL) for approximately Rs. 188 crores (~US$19.7 Million).
  3. Sun Pharma acquires 100% outstanding shares of Innovcare Lifesciences for Rs. 271 Crore(~US$ 28.4 Million).
  4. Incyte to buy bleeding disorder biotech Vega Therapeutics in US$1.25 Billion upfront deal.
  5. Zymeworks to acquire Theravance in US$929 Million deal.
  6. Ipsen to buy blood cancer company Kartos Therapeutics for US$450 Million upfront.

  4. Immuneel Therapeutics, a Bengaluru-based cell and gene therapy startup, has announced the successful close of its Rs 100 crore plus (~US$ 10.48 Million) Series B financing.
  5. Hoola Health, formerly known as BabyMD, India’s first holistic paediatric healthcare brand, has raised $5 Million in funding, led by Peak XV’s Surge.
